Spoon Youth
Spoon youth, is the official name of our youth group. The group provides young people with a stable and nurturing environment and teaches them ways to deal with the challenges of life in the slum, such as drug addiction, violence, and crime

In Little Light, one of our most important missions is to encourage suitable and trusted leaders within the community to stand up and take charge. Leaders who will guide and transform the ways of life in the slum and lead their lives and their surrounding towards a better future.
Our youth group composed of the community’s adolescent offers a comprehensive program for developing leadership skills and building personal life long skill sets.
Little Light youth group members are committed to learning, through formal education, vocational or art skills like music and dance.
We provide our group with tools and guidance for gaining better employment opportunities
Skills Development Program
Professional Lesson
Tailoring, motorcycle mechanics and hairdressing.
Life Skills Lessons
Family planning, financial management, writing a CV, job interview preparations, etc.
Community Outreach
Giving is one Spoon Youth’s top value. Every month we perform a voluntary community outreach where we give back to the community. The outreaches include neighborhood cleaning, hygiene and sex education, art and dance performances and more.
Dance Group
Our youths are blessed with extraordinary artistic talent. Most of them dance, sing, draw or play music. Little Light has established a professional dance group for their progression.
We provide the conditions and resources necessary for our talented Youth Group to develop their artistic skills. Watching them dance is breathtaking!
Our scholarships program
Education is one of Little Light’s top values. Thanks to the scholarship program, our youth have the opportunity to complete their A level education, sponsored by international donors. Part of our youth group are currently studying and some have already graduated successfully!
